British Textile Company (BTC) was founded in 1964 and started as a humble tailoring house nested in a hotel room in The American Hotel (which was later renamed The Hilton Hotel), and moved to Pacific House on Queen's Road Central in 1966. After 26 years at the same address, BTC moved to New Henry House on Ice House Street in the spring of 1992. In 2001, BTC moved to The Galleria, a prestigious and prime shopping destination in Core Central. BTC was incorporated in December 1998 and is now officially named British Textile Company Limited.
